Whilst Treasurer for the College with the smallest Committee at the University of York, the role extends far beyond just finances, and we all help out wherever possible.
I've been running tech for College events across campus ever since, sharing knowledge, kit and great memories.

I joined the Belfrey when starting as a student at the University of York, and have been following the church since as it embarks on its exciting Impact Building Project.
It's been an honour to support the church's ministry as it migrates to its temporary home in the De Grey Rooms. The church has a wonderful community of volunteers and staff that make it a an honour to serve.

2022 - 2023
During my first year at the University of York, I had a great time being part of TechSoc, a student society dedicated to providing equipment and technical support for University events.
The society welcomes a diverse range of students with a wealth of backgrounds and experience. My favourite project to work on was CHMS' production of Little Shop of Horrors, where I had a great time running sound.

The Phoenix Cultural Centre runs the only community grassroots music venue in Woking. It's been a great place to meet, learn and share skills with volunteers from all walks of life. The project is currently moving to a new site at 32 Goldsworth Road.
I was honoured to serve on the organisation's board throughout the pandemic to represent young people in the borough of Woking, stepping down after I moved to study in York.

2020 - 2022
When studying at the Sixth Form College Farnborough, I joined Flexi-Crew, the college theatre's student tech team. I ran sound for the college's annual Christmas production of Wedding Singer, and helped A level drama students record and produce radio dramas. Being part of Flexi-Crew introduced me to many new friends in the team, as well across the A level drama and BTEC performing arts cohorts.
2016 - 2022
Volunteering for six years at Emmaus RD has taught me invaluable experience in working as a team to assist in delivering powerful worship for congregations across several locations in Guildford and Woking. It's been a great privilege to get familiarity with industry leading DiGiCO SD series consoles, d&b Audiotechnik PA, and A&H DSP systems.

2015 - 2020
During my time at Woking High School, I would always look forward to working in shows as part of the technical production team - assisting in designing and running lighting, sound, and visuals to supplement events throughout the year, including concerts, competitions, theatrical productions, and sporting fixtures.
2018 - 2022
I supported with AV system maintenance and operation for four years at St Andrew's Goldsworth Park. It has given me further experience working with the Music Tribe range of consoles, as well as getting accustomed to wide broadcast technologies as a consequenece of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I've had some great opportunities to push the boundaries of the most affordable AV equipment in the industry, making the most of a small budget.
2017 - 2022
Cardboard Carousel produces beautiful music; mixing them for live is a sensational experience, and such occasions are the ones I remember most vividly!
Luckily for me, Cardboard Carousel is behind the music for Lectio 365, so I still get to hear it - along with hundreds of thousands of others - every day!
2010 - 2017
Woking Vineyard Church gave me my first experience of a digital sound console, the Behringer DDX3216!
Over the next seven years, I volunteered with all elements of AV at the church. I had a great opportunity to familriase myself with iPad mixing on a Mackie DL1608; a feature which would become standard on any modern digital mixing console.
